  • About Me

Over 20 years working with people and teams on CULTURE & RELATIONSHIPS, ensuring connection before content, and a balance in life.

Husband, Dad, Son, Brother, Mate, Athlete, Teacher, Coach, and Mentor. All of these labels I wear with a humble head and heart and a huge passion to listen and help.

I pride myself on being present in every situation as best as I can. As a father I know I am forever being watched and that in itself is fuel enough to lead and mentor with poise and integrity, and provide a sense of belonging for all.

I love working with groups of people. Common goals, commuincation and collaboration are all key areas that can help make groups function better. A strong culture and positive relationships are essential.

    The story of 'CHanGe'

People, teams and culture... I have been fascinated for a long time, and in lots of places all over the world with what makes people happy and groups successful. So I've taken notes, journals, photos, and experimented with techniques and habits to stay happy, healthy, and balanced.

From the 4 main programs (described below), that I am passionate about, there may be a mix of what you want for your team, group or organisation. The best thing is, it will be tailored for what you need, be it adults, students or adolescents. This is an authentic take on small changes that can really help, backed with research and nearly two deacdes of teaching and playing sport at an elite level.

Mates are so important to me. They allow me to vent, celebrate, cry, laugh and just be myself. The capital H in CHanGe is for Haywood, the C and G are for 'Cookie ' and ' Gill'. Two of my best mates that have been through the highs and the lows with me and always help make everything alright. They are the definition of 'connection'.

    REAL TALK

I am a great judge of character, and I feel like I have been in, or know someone close to me that has been in the same trench as you, and my strength lies in helping people, teams and groups figure out how to create some change, and keep moving forward.
